Five Valleys Shopping Centre Starts Fit Out on Modern Office Space

So far the redevelopment works at Five Valleys shopping centre have delivered a remodelled multi-storey car park, shopping mall and a brand-new Medical Practice next door. Now the developers, Dransfield Properties, are moving on to providing quality workspaces for Stroud.

A new office space, the first to be delivered at Five Valleys, is receiving a £30,000 fit out ready for a firm to take up in as little as eight weeks. 

Estates Surveyor, Olly Jansen, said: “We feel this space would suit a small office-based business wanting to set up in a central location within a busy shopping centre benefiting from plenty of amenities for staff as well as low-cost parking on site.

“This type of unit would ideally suit a professional such as a physio or massage therapist, who could potentially take referrals from the Medical Practice next door.”

The office, which can be accessed from the top deck of the centre’s multi-storey car park, will benefit from having new flooring, lighting and heating and cooling systems included providing an ideal space for around four office workers.

Employees based at the location will benefit from a raft of shops and amenities right on the premises as well as plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink.

The former Merrywalks shopping centre, now Five Valleys, has certainly diversified throughout the four-year redevelopment programme becoming the home to a borough market style food hall containing several artisan food traders and street food vendors, 13 residential apartments as well as medical facilities and a public library next door. 

The redevelopment of number 1 King Street has so far brought almost 100 employees to this side of the town centre and the new space presents the opportunity for more to join, providing a further boost to the retail and hospitality economy.
