F.Hinds celebrates 50 years in Stroud

Family owned and run jeweller, F.Hinds, has recently celebrated its Stroud store’s 50th anniversary. The shop at Five Valleys Shopping Centre originally opened in 1973.
F.Hinds, which has been a family business since it was established in 1856, first opened its doors in Stroud in 1973 and has since become a well-loved part of the local community. The F.Hinds store, which employs 6 people, is part of the nationally celebrated F.Hinds family business that first launched 166 years ago in 1856.
Belinda McCarthy, manager at the branch said "We are all very proud to be celebrating our 50th anniversary at F Hinds Stroud.
In these difficult times in retail and on the high street our exceptional level of customer service is more important than ever, and this is why we have so many loyal and returning customers who have been shopping with us for many years, they know they will be welcomed in with a friendly familiar face.”

been and now benefit from a super new look after our refit earlier this year.
Our centre itself has seen enormous investment and development in the last few
years and it all looks fantastic.
As F.Hinds is still a family owned and operated company, we continue to be so proud of our fantastic history and very strong position on our ever-changing high street."
F.Hinds employs over 1,000 staff across 127 stores in the UK, including its Chapelle branded stores. The independent business was also recently named Retailer of the Year, at the UK Jewellery Awards 2023, and well as being named Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year in 2021 at the Professional Jeweller awards and being awarded the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award in 2022.
